Abstract:
In their 1959 paper Beaumont and Wisner conjectured that if is a rank two torsionfree ring without zerodivisors then decomposes as a direct sum U V where U V and V is not a nil group We construct a counterexample to this conjecture To further this aim we consider the problem of finding a ring without zerodivisors such that is a torsionfree homogenous indecomposable group with rank equal to two سوف ننشئ في هذا البحث مثالا مضادا لاستنتاج بيومونت ويزنر المقترح في عام 1959 م إذا كانت حلقة خالية من الدوران من الرتبة الثانية ليس لها قاسم، فإن تتفكك على شكل جمع مباشر U V حيث U V وكذلك V ليست مجموعة خالية أضف إلى ذلك نعالج مسألة إيجاد حلقة ليس لها قاسم مثل ، وتكون خالية من الدوران، متناسقة غير قابلة للتفكك وثنائية الرتبة
