Abstract:
A threeterm successiveapproximations solution to the problem of unsteady
laminar incompressible plaue stagnation flow started impulsively from rest is
developed The problem is also solved numerically using the alternatingdirection implicit
method and the successive overrelaxation method to solve the vorticity
transport equation and the stream function equation respectively The two solutions
show excellent agreement تم التوصل إلى حل تقريبي لثلاثة حدود متعاقبة لمشكلة الانسياب اللزج غير المستقر لمائع غير منضغط ينساب متعامدا تجاه سطح مستوي لقد تم أيضا حل المشكلة عدديا باستخدام طريقة الاتجاهات المتغيرة الضمنية مع طريقة الإرخاء الزائد المتتابع وذلك لحل معادلة انتقال الدوامة ومعادلة دالة الانسياب على الترتيب وقد دلت النتائج على توافق ممتاز بين الحلين
