لقد عرف س شيفلي إحدى جبر لي الجبري باستعماله مبدأ المجموعات الجبرية، بعد ذلك وصف هذه الجبريات أما جاكسبون فقد عرف مبدأ "تكاد أن تكون جبر لي الجبري للتحويلات الخطية" وفي هذا البحث تستعمل بعض نتائج الجبر الخطي لنحصل على النظرية التالية نظرية إذا كانت L إحدى جبر لي الجبري معرفة على مجال له مميز قيمته تساوي صفر فإن L تكاد أن تكون جبرية C Chevalley gives a definition of an algebraic Lie algebra using the concept of
