Abstract

استهدفت هذه الدراسة متابعة المقارنة ببعض التحاليل الكيميائية الشائعة للبذور وكذلك المركبات النيتروجينية والصبغات النباتية الموجودة في بذور نبات السنامكي النامي برياً في أودية وجبال مكة المكرمة وقد انسجمت نتائج هذه الدراسة مع ما سبق التوصل إليه، حيث أظهرت تبايناً في نتائج التحليل الكيميائي لبذور كلا النباتين وكذلك المركبات النيتروجينية، وأيضاً الصبغات النباتية المستخلصة من بذور هذين النباتين، مما يرجح أن النباتين تحت الدراسة نوعان مختلفان

A comparative chemical study of the seeds of two Cas sia senna was performed to ascertain if distinct chemical substances could be identified to distinguish the two Cassias under investigation The initial problem raised by the finding that these two Cassia sen na were morphologically practically identical has been resolved by the experimental results which were found to be in agreement with the previous studies As can be seen from the conclusions it is now possible to distinguish between these two plants It may be concluded that the two Cassias under investigaion are two species
