Abstract

تمت دراسة مشكلة النفايات الصلبة والآثار المترتبة على عدم معالجتها والمخاطر البيئية الناتجة عن ذلك وطرق معالجة النفايات الصلبة وتصنيفها وطرق معالجة النفايات المنزلية في المملكة العربية السعودية وفي دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، ومناقشة إمكانية استغلال هذه النفايات في إنتاج مواد ذات عائد اقتصادي كما تمت مناقشة مشاكل تلوث البيئة نتيجة النفايات الصناعية الصلبة وإمكانية استرجاع المواد ذات القيمة الاقتصادية منها والنفايات الذرية الصلبة ومصادرها وطرق معالجتها
