Effect of foliar application of different fertilizers on growth and leaf nutrient elements content of sour orange seedlings تأثير الرش الورقي بأسمدة مختلفة على النمو والمحتوى الورقي من العناصر المعدنية لشتول النارنج

Abstract

Influence of different foliar fertilizers on growth characteristics and leaf nutrient elements content of sour orange seedlings grown under nursery conditions was investigated Three foliar fertilizers namely FoliarX Compound Cryst and Bayfolan were used in this study The potted sour orange seedlings were sprayed 12 times during the study period of 6 months using the recommended concentrations Growth parameters were evaluated in terms of plant height stem diameter number of leaves leaf area and fresh and dry weights of leaves stems and roots At the termination of the experiment some of the leaf nutrient elements contents were determined The results demonstrated that stem diameter leaf area fresh and dry weights of roots and dry weight of leaves were not significant between FoliarX and Compound Cryst fertilizers and also between Bayfolan fertilizer and control ; however the former two treatments resulted in significantly higher values of these parameters than the latter two treatments Significantly higher values of plant height number of leaves fresh weights of leaves and stems and dry weights of leaves were associated with FoliarX than the other treatments Generally the highest values of all growth parameters were recorded in seedlings sprayed with FoliarX followed with Compound Cryst Bayfolan and then the control Significantly higher leafN K Ca Mg and Zn contents were detected in seedlings sprayed with various foliar fertilizers than the control Spraying of seedlings with either FoliarX or Compound Cryst fertilizer resulted in significantly higher leaf N K Mg and Zn than spraying them with Bayfolan fertilizer Significantly higher leaf P content was found in seedlings sprayed with Bayfolan than the other treatments Leaf Cu content showed an opposite trend than that of leafN content

تمت دراسة تأثير الرش الورقي بأسمدة مختلفة على خواص النمو والمحتوى الورقي من العناصر المعدنية لشتولالنارنج النامية تحت ظروف المشتل استخدمت في هذه الدراسة ثلاثة أسمدة ورقية، هي فوليارـ أكس، كمباوند كرست وبايوفولان وقد تم رش شتول النارنج 12 مرة خلال فترة الدراسة (6أشهر) وذلك باستخدام التركيزات الموصي عليها تم تقييم معايير النمو التي تتمثل في طول النبات، قطر الساق، عدد الأوراق، مساحة الورقة، والأوزان الرطبة والجافة للأوراق والسوق والجذور وعند نهاية التجربة تم تحديد محتويات الورقة من بعض العناصر المعدنية أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق معنوية في قطر الساق، مساحة الورقة، والأوزان الرطبة والجافة للأوراق بين فوليارأكس وكمباوند كرست وكذلك بين بايوفولان والشاهد (الضابط)، ولكن نتج من المعاملتين الأوليتين قيم معنوية عالية لمعايير النمو مقارنة بالمعاملتين الأخريتين وجدت قيم معنوية عالية في طول الشتول، عدد الأوراق، والأوزان الرطبة للأوراق والسوق والأوزان الجافة للأوراق عند استخدام فوليارـ أكس مقارنة بالمعاملات الأخرى عموما فإن أعلى قيم لمعايير النمو سجلت في الشتول التي رشت بفوليارأكس تليها التي رشت، بكمباوند كرست وبايوفولان وأخيرا الشاهد (الضابط) وجدت أعلى قيم معنوية للمحتوى الورقي من عناصر النيتروجين، البوتاسيوم، الكالسيوم، المغنيسيوم، والزنك في الشتول التيرشت بالأسمدة المختلفة مقارنة بالشاهد (الضابط) وقد نتج عن رش الشتول بسماد فوليارأكس أو سماد كمباوند كرست أعلى قيم معنوية للمحتوى الورقي من عناصر النيتروجين، البوتاسيوم، المغنيسيوم، والزنك مقارنة بالتي رشت بسماد البايوفولان وجدت أعلى قيمة معنوية للمحتوى الورقي للفسفور في الشتول التي رشت بسماد البايو فولان مقارنة بالمعاملات الأخرى وأظهرت المحتوى الورقي للنحاس ظاهرة عكس التي في المحتوى الورقي للنيتروجين
