Abstract:
Stachys sp aff schimperi (family Labiatae) is a widespread species in the south west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia This plant species has not been investigated previously for its chemical constituents Chromatographic separation of its extract afforded sitosterol and stigmasterol Additionally some fatty acids 2hydroxy4phenylbutanoic acid syringic acid vanillic acid isoferulic acid and pcoumaric acid were identified by GC MS technique In addition to two flavonoids; 4’5dihydroxy678trimethoxyflavone and 4’5dihydroxy 3678tetramethoxyflavone were identified by the proton NMR and the MS spectra ينتشر نوع استاكس شبيه شمبري (الفصيلة الشفوية) انتشارا كبيرا في جنوب غرب المملكة العربية السعودية لم يتم فحص هذا النوع مسبقا لمعرفة محتواه من المكونات الكيميائية في هذا البحث أدى الفصل الكروماتوجرافي لخلاصة هذا النبات إلى فصل المكونات التالية بيتاسيتواستيرول، واستجما استيرول، كما تم التعرف على بعض الأحماض الدهنية، حمض 2هيدروكسي4فينايل بيوتاتويك، حمض سيرنجك، حمض فانيليك، حمض أيزوفيريوليك، حمض باراكوماريك، وذلك باستخدام التحليل الكروماتوجرافي الغازي المقترن بطيف الكتلة، بالإضافة إلى اثنين من الفلافونويدات، وهما 4، 5داي هيدروكسي6، 7، 8تراي ميثوكسي فلافون و4، 5داي هيدروكسي3، 6، 7، 8تتراميثوكسي فلافون، تم التعرف على بتنائهما باستخدام طيف الرنين النووي للبروتون بالإضافة إلى طيف الكتلة
