لقد درس الانتقاء الغذائي لسمك ((السيبرينيون أسنيسي)) وقد وجد أن هذا النوع اختياري الغذاء حيث لوحظ اعتماد معظم العوائق النباتية وعدم تفضيله لأنواع أخرى، وأخيرا فلقد أشير في هذا البحث إلى العوامل التي تحدد الانتقاء الغذائي لهذا النوع
