Abstract

يعالج هذا المقال ثلاثة مفاهيم لغوية مرتبطة ومتداخلة بعضها في بعض وهي القياس اللغوي والقياس اللغوي الناتج عن تغير تاريخي أو القياس اللغوي الناتج من إضافة كلمات في اللغة في فترة زمنية واحدة يستعمل القياس اللغوي بمفهومه العام للدلالة على القياس اللغوي بين مرحلتين في تاريخ اللغة أو للدلالة على القياس اللغوي في مرحلة واحدة للغة الواحدة القياس اللغوي لمرحلة واحدة عبارة عن قياس لغوي يضيف كلمات جديدة للغة بينما القياس اللغوي التاريخي يشير إلى التغيير بين مرحلتين في اللغة إذ تحل كلمة محل كلمة على أساس وجود أنموذج عام في اللغة ويهدف إلى توحيد الشكل الواحد للكلمات التي لها علاقة بعضها مع بعض من حيث الشكل والمضمون ويعالج المقال أيضا القياس التاريخي النسبي من مؤيديه ومعارضيه وخاصة آراء أصحاب المدرسة التوليدية وخصومهم ويخلص إلى أن آراء أصحاب المدرسة غير التوليدية لا تختلف عن آراء أصحاب المدرسة التوليدية إلا في استعمالهم للمفاهيم ويخلص المقال في مناقشة الأساس الذي يعتمده القياس النسبي المطرد من حيث تقسيم الكلمة إلى مكوناتها الجذر واللواحق والسوابق وباختصار يعتمد القياس اللغوي مبدأ تغيير الكلمة من شكل إلى آخر على أساس التشابه في الشكل والمضمون

This article sheds light on three interelated notions in linguistic tradition analogy analogical creation and analogical change Analogy is a cover term which refers to both analogical creation and analogical change Analogical creation is a synchronic generative and productive process which adds new forms by extending regular patterns to newly introduced forms or new neologisms Analogical change occurs when analogical creation at a given stage of a language figures in a replacement that is a new common and regular form replaces an earlier form The change is between an earlier stage and a latter one In short analogical change is a historical process Moreover it discusses the notion of proportional analogical change its pros and its cons in generative and non generative approaches The conclusion shows that the "traditional" proposition of analogical change is not different from generative grammarians position except in terminology Moreover analogical change is not simple as described by generativists a change in the rules of grammar at the synchroaic level Finally the problem of segmentation is discussed; the segmentation resegmentation is a prerequistie to the operation of analogical change In short analogical change is a process where by one form a language becomes more like another with which it is associated
