Improved statespace criteron for global asymptotic stability of fixedpoint statespace digital filters with saturation arithmetic

Abstract

نعرض في هذا البحث معيار الحالةالفراغ للثبات التقاربي الشامل لمرشح الحالةالفراغ الرقمي ذا قيمة محددة وذلك باستخدام الفائض الحسابي المشبع وقد اشتق المعيار باستقصاء خاصية جديدة للنظام قيد الدراسة كما قمنا بمقارنة هذا المعيار مع معيار سابق تم عرضه من قبل كل من كار وسينج وقد أبانت المقارنة أن المعيار الحالي ذي ضوابط أقل من معيار كار وسينج وبينا نجاعة المعيار المقترح عن طريق مثالين مختلفين

A statespace criterion for the global asymptotic stability of fixedpoint state space digital filters using saturation overflow arithmetic is presented The criterion is derived by exploiting a novel structural property of the system under consideration and hence is quite distinct from the previous criteria In particular a comparison of the present criterion with an earlier criterion due to Kar and Singh is made The comparison reveals that the present criterion is less restrictive than KarSingh’s criterion Two examples showing the effectiveness of the present approach are given
