الملخص:
Experience with steamassisted insitu heavy oil recovery operations has demonstrated the need for accurate measurement of the quality of the steam injected into the oil formation This paper presents a comprehensive evaluation of the conventional and newly developed methods of measuring steam quality It is shown that most of the conventional methods have short comings which limit their applications in heavy oil field operations Newly developed methods employing nuclear radiation interaction techniques provide nonintrusive online measurement of steam quality under most practical operating conditions These methods are probably the best available methods for heavy oil field applications إن عمليات إنتاج الزيت الثقيل بمساعدة بخار الماءتتطلب معرفة جودة البخار الذي يتم حقنه في مكامن الزيت بدرجة دقيقة ويقدم هذا البحث تقييما شاملا للطرق التقليدية والحديثة المستخدمة في قياس جودة بخار الماء وقد تبين أن معظم طرق القياس التقليدية لا تصلح للاستخدام في عمليات إنتاج الزيت الثقيل كذلك تبين أنه من بين الطرق الحديثة فإن طرق القياس التي تعتمد على استخدام الإشعاعات النووية تعتبر أفضل الطرق تحت ظروف تشغيل حقول الزيت الثقيل
