الملخص:
A number of possibilities for influencing the properties of austenitic stainless steels in particular the susceptibility to intergranular corrosion are examined In addition the electrochemical processes taking place in the various types of corrosion are described Moreover the susceptibility of the chromium depleted grain boundaries due to a lack of passivity are presented by means of a rough outline of the current densitypotential curve of a sensitized austenitic steel The possibilities of avoiding intergranular corrosion are also examined هناك عدد من الاحتمالات تؤثر على خواص الفولاذ الأوستيني الذي لا يصدأ وعلى وجه الخصوص عدم قابلية التأثر بتآكل الأجزاء الداخلية وإضافة إلى ذلك فقد أوضحت العملية الكهروكيميائية التي تحدث في الأنماط المختلفة من التآكل إن قابلية تأثر أطراف حبيبات الكروم الخفيف الناتجة عن نقص اللافعالية المكتسبة قد شرحت بواسطة شكل تقريبي لكثافة التيار وهو المنحنى الكامن للفولاذ الأوستيني ذو الحساسية وهكذا اختبرت احتمالات تجنب التآكل بين الحبيبات
