Abstract

لقد تحسنت في السنوات الأخيرة طرق تحليل الحفاوات غير المتجانسة حيث طوت طرق جديدة للتحليل الفيزيائي والكيميائي لتعيين خواص الحفازات ودراسة كيفية عملها، وكذلك حسنت الوسائل القائمة لهذه الأغراض يرجع هذا التطوير السريع إلى التحسن الذي طرأ على الإلكترونيات وتقنية التفريغ زيادة استخدام الحاسب الآلي، وقد استفادت طرق تحليل السطوح بصفة خاصة من استخدام الميكروسكوبات المتطورة، وطرق كشف الشوارد وطرق التحليل المعتمدة على التجاوب المغناطيسي النووي وجميع تلك الوسائل أتاحت الاطلاع القيم على الخواص الحفزية للعوامل المساعدة (الحافزات) ضمن نطاق هذه المقالة نوقشت طرق التحليل بواسطة الأشعة دون الحمراء، التجاوب المغناطيسي النووي مطيافية الإلكترونات للتحليل الكيميائي، مطيافية الإشعاع النووي، والسائل المعتمدة على مطيافية الإلكترونات بأنواعها المختلفة والميكروسكوبات الإلكترونية المتطورةحيث أن لكل طريقة من هذه الطرق نقاط قوة ونقاط ضعف ولهذا فإن تكون صورة واضحة عن خواص الحفازات لا تأتي إلا من خلال استخدام عدة وسائل للفحص كما شرحت كذلك إمكانية تطبيق كل طريقة من الطرق المختلفة وإمكانية دمجها سويا من خلال أمثلة مناسبة

The analysis of heterogeneous catalysts has made considerable advances in recent years New methods of physical and chemical analysis have been developed for characterizing catalysts and studying the way they work and the existing techniques have been refined This rapid development owes much to the improved electronics better vacuum technology and the increasing use of computers Surface analysis techniques have especially benefitted from the application of vastly superior microscopes trace analyzers and solid NMR analysis all of which have valuable insights into catalytic behavior In this paper the physical methods used for bulk and surface analysis are discussed at length ; chemical techniques however are not considered In particular the techniques of IR MASNMR XRD ESCA AES SIMS and ISS spectroscopy and SE TE and HRE microscopy are described in detail Each method has its strengths and weaknesses and a clear picture often only emerges after using a combination of techniques The applicability of the various methods and combinations of methods is described with the aid of appropriate examples permitted
