Applications of thermal analysisbased physicochemical kinetics in polymer scince and engineering

Abstract

بحثت هنا فائدة دراسة أثر القوة في حركة الأجسام (الكينيتكا) المعتمدة على التحليل الحراري وقد أوضحت هذه الطريقة بأنها ذات فائدة في العديد من حقول تكنولوجية البوليمر، وهي تتراوح من جعل العوامل المتغيرة للعمليات المتعاقبة أكثر فاعلية إلى فهم تحول الطور وقد وضعت الأمثلة بحيث تتضمن كلا من (1) التكهنات الطويلة المدى للمحتويات الملدنة في الكلوريد المتعدد الفينيل (بي في سي)، وأداء البولي إستيلين المعالج كيماويا، (2) بلمرة مركب كيماوي مستقل الجزيئات (غير متبلمر) وجعل العوامل المتغيرة للوقت ودرجة الحرارة وتركيز بادئ سلسلة التفاعلات الأكثر فاعلية، (3) تحليل مرحلة النتقال المنظمة وغير المنظمة في بوليمر كروميكي حراري (ثيرموكروميكي)، (4) التبلور الانصهاري للبوليميرات وتأثير تاريخ العمليات المتعاقبة، (5) دراسة العمليات المتعاقبة التي تتعلق بأوقات الاستنتاج، مثل البلورة في حالة الصلابة لخليط معدني غير متبلور وتجمد راتنج مصلد بالحرارة وكذلك تبحث الخلفية النظرية والأهمية والمجالات والتقيدات لهذه القياسات

The usefulness of thermal analysisbased physicochemical kinetics is discussed The methodology is shown to be useful in diverse areas of polymer technology ranging from an optimization of process variables to understanding phase transformations Examples are described to include (1) the long term prediction of the plasticizer content of a PVC and the performance of doped polyacetylenes (2) the polymerization of a monomer and the optimization of time temperature and initiator concentration variables (3) analysis of an orderdisorder transition in a thermochromic polymer (4) the melt crystallization of polymers and the effect of processing history and (5) a study of the processes associated with induction times eg solid state crystallization of an amorphous alloy and the gelation of a thermoset resin The theoretical background significance scope and limitations of these measurements are also discussed
