دراسة لثلاثة أصناف من العصيات (الباشيلسات) الكبريتية في أوساط من الكبريتات الثيوكبريتات والكبريتامات دلت على أن وسط الكبريتامات يمنع نمو الكائن المهجري أن التركيز النهائي للكبريتامات في حدود 005 جزيء للدسم 3 هناك منافسة بين أيونات الثيوكبريت وأيونات الكبريتامات تدل النتائج على أن الكبريت الإضافي (أو الخارجي) في الثيوكبريتات هو الكبريت المستهلك من قبل الكائن المهجري A study of three Thiobacilli species with sulfamate thiosulfate and sulfate media
has shown that sulfamate will inhibit growth of the microorganism The limiting
concentration is about 005 mol dm3 Competition exists between NH2SO3 and
S2O3 The results suggest that the exosulfur in thiosulfate is the sulfur utilized by
the microorganism
