لقد تم بناء جهاز رسم للأهداف الصغيرة والمتوسطة الحجم وذلك لإنتاج خرائط فورية وللقياس المجسم لهذه الأهداف وقد أمكن استخدام الجهاز الجديد في عدة تطبيقات مختلفة ويتم الإسقاط العمودي وقياس المدى في الجهاز الجديد عن طريق استخدام شعاع ضيق من الليزر وتصل دقة الجهاز الجديد إلى جزء من الملليمتر مما يجعل استخداماته في الصناعة والطب والحفريات عظيمة الأهمية A ranging plotter capable of the direct measurement of coordinates in three
dimensional space and the plotting of small and medium size objects is developed
and successfully employed in different closerange applications A collimated laser
beam is used for the orthogonal projection of an object and for depth ranging The
new plotter provides an accuracy of a fraction of a millimeter and its applications in
industry archaeology biostereometry and prosthesis would be very useful
