Based upon the steady state analysis of variable speed selfexcited induction generators it is shown in this paper that there are certain limiting values of terminal excitation capacitors machine speed and load impedance below or above which self excitation is not possible Analytical expressions are obtained to determine these limiting values for the noload case Furthermore the influence of load parameters on such limiting values is investigated using numerical computations Both balanced and unbalanced (employing only one excitation capacitor) cases have been treated باستخدام الطرق التحليلية لحالة الاستقرار لمولدات حثية ذات السرعة المتغيرة وذاتية الإثارةتبين أن هناك قيما حدية لكل من مكثف الإثارة الطرفي، وسرعة المولد ومعاوقة الحمل، وأنها تحدد إمكانية الإثارة الذاتية أو عدمها ولقد اشتقت معادلات جبرية لإيجاد هذه القيم الحدية للمولد غير المحمل، وبالإضافة إلى ذلك فقد تم بحث تأثير معاملات الحمل على القيم الحدية باستخدام حسابات عددية كما عولجت حالتي التوازن وعدم التوازن
