Abstract

This paper presents a literary analyses of the character of King Abdul Aziz in the poetry of Fuad elKhateeb It highlights the most important aspects of this character as documented in elKhateeb's poetry in addition to identifying the most important features of this late king and founder and unifier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Most importantly this paper discusses Abdul Aziz as a believer muslim a courageous leader a maker of history a king of crown and sword a modem statesman a gentleman and an aid to all Arabic and Islamic nations The researcher has ordered these features according to their appearance in the poems that the poet has designated for King Abdul Aziz and has made a special note of what the poet has mentioned about the deal of this late king

يتناول هذا البحث بالتحليل الأدبي شخصية الملك عبد العزيز في شعر فؤاد الخطيب، فيقف عند أهم صفات شخصية الملك عبد العزيز (رحمه الله) مؤسس الوطن الكبير (المملكة العربية السعودية) وباني وحدته، وفي مقدمة هذه الصفات عبد العزيز المسلم المؤمن، والقائد الشجاع، وصانع التاريخ ومنشئ أسسه، وملك التاج والسيف، ورجل الدولة العصرية، وصاحب الأخلاق الكريمة والخصال النبيلة، والواقف عونا للأقطار العربية والإسلامية وقد رتب الباحث هذه الصفات تبعا لتجليها في القصائد التي خصها الشاعر للملك عبد العزيز ثم توقف عند وفاته، وقفة قصيرة تناول فيها بالدراسة والتحليل الأدبي بعض ما قاله ها الشاعر في رثاء الملك عبد العزيز رحمه الله
