Abstract

This research was carried out in the coastal regionTartus and lattakia Syria during 20092010the work aimed to identify the most important host plants of bumblebees Bombus terrestris the level of plant at which the bees are found and the number of visits to the host plant the results showed the existence of 23 plant species hosts of bumblebees belong to several families of plant species on three levels of plant are Hollyhock of Damascus Althaea Alkanet Anchusa strigosa Italian thistle cardus australis cretan rockrose Cistus creticus sage leaf rockrose Cistus salvifolius Eastern pod Cercis siliquastrum red star thistle centaura pallescens citron Citrus sp Clium sp Globe thistle Echinops polyceras Italian bugloss Echium Italicum sun flower helianthus annuus shrubby Jerusalem Syrian phlomis syriaca clover trifolim clypeatum common vetch vicia villosa birds foot trefoil lotus conimbricensis apple malus communis Binard sage slavia penardi sage salvia sp1 sage salvia sp2 loganberry Rubus sanguineus scotch syriancom onopordum Syriacom broad bean vicia faba as well as plant species that were not classified this is the first time that the hosts of bumblebees were recorded in Syria

نفذ البحث في المنطقة الساحليةطرطوس واللاذقية خلال عامي 20092010، بهدف تحديد أهم العوائل النباتية للنحل الطنان Bambus terrestris والمستوى النباتي الذي وجد عليه، وعدد الزيارات لعائل نباتي محدد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود 23 نوعا نباتيا عائلا للنحل الطنان تنتمي إلى عدة فصائل نباتية على ثلاثة مستويات نباتية هي الختمية الدمشقية Althaea damascene، حماحم Anchusa strigosa، الخرشيف قاروري الرأس cardus ausralis، القستوس الكريتي Cistus creticus، القستوس ناعمي الورق Cistus salvifolius، الزمزريق Ceris siliquastrum، شوك المرار Centaura pallescens الحمضيات Citrus sp ،Clium sp، الحرشافقرقفان متعدد Echinops polyceras، زهرة الأفعى Echium italicum، عباد الشمس Helianthus annus، اللهيب السوري Phlomis syriaca، النقل Trifolium clypeatum البيقي البري Vicia villosa ،Lotus conimbrincensis، التفاح Malus communis، ميرمية بناردي Slavia pendari، ميرمية Slavia sp 1، Slavia sp 2 توت السياج الدموي Rubus sanguineus، الشوك البنفسجيالخرشوف Onopordom syriacom، الفول Vicia faba، بالإضافة إلى أنواع نباتية أخرى لم نتمكن من تصنيفها وتعد هذه الدراسة الأولى لحصر عوائل النحل الطنان في سورية
