دراسة الأسعار المحلية والعالمية لأهم السلع الغذائية في ظل الأزمة المالية العالمية حالة جمهورية مصر العربية A study of domestic and international prices of major food commodities in the light of the global financial crisis

Abstract

تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على الآثار الناجمة من جراء الأزمة المالية العالمية على كل من الأسعار المحلية والعالمية لأهم السلع الغذائية والمتمثلة في القمح، الذرة الشامية، لحوم الكندوز، الدجاج الأبيض، أسماك البلطي، السكر الحر، الأرز، الدقيق الفاخر، وبعض أنواع الزيوت النباتية ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة يتطلب ذلك دراسة الأرقام القياسية الموسمية لأسعار الجملة والمستهلك خلال الفترة (20022008 م) وكذلك مقارنة الأرقام القياسية الموسمية لأسعار الجملة والمستهلك للسلع موضع الدراسة، وأخيرا دراسة أثر الموسمية والأزمات العالمية على كل من أسعار الجملة والمستهلك والأسعار العالمية، ومقارنة أثر الأزمات على تلك الأسعار وقد تبين من دراسة الأرقام القياسية لأسعار الجملة والمستهلك بداية ظهور أثر الموسمية في الربع الثاني لكل منها كما تبين من مقارنة الأرقام القياسية الموسمية المقدرة لأسعار الجملة والمستهلك ارتفاع الأرقام القياسية للمستهلك عنها بالنسبة للجملة لكل من لحوم الكندوز والقمح، وارتفاع الأرقام القياسية للجملة عنها للمستهلك لكل من الدقيق الحر، الدجاج الأبيض، زيت بذرة القطن بينما تكاد تكون الأرقام متساوية في كل منها لكل من أسماك البلطي، السكر الحر، الذرة الشامية كما تبين من دراسة الأثر المشترك للموسمية والأزمات العالمية معا ارتفاع أسعار كل من القمح، الذرة الشامية، الأرز، زيت بذرة القطن لكل من أسعار المستهلك والجملة نتيجة الأثر المشترك للموسمية وأزمة الغذاء العالمية، بينما انخفضت أسعار كل من لحوم الكندوز، الدجاج الأبيض، السمك البلطي، السكر الحر، والدقيق الفاخر لكل من أسعار المستهلك والجملة وذلك خلال الربع الرابع لعام 2007 م مقارنة بالربع خلال عام 2006 م كما تبين من دراسة الأثر المشترك للموسمية والأزمات المختلفة (الغذائية والمالية) ارتفاع أسعار كل من لحوم الكندوز، السمك البلطي، السكر الحر في كل من أسعار الجملة والمستهلك، بينما ارتفعت أسعار الدقيق الفاخر، وزيت بذرة القطن للمستهلك فقط كما تبين انخفاض أسعار كل من المستهلك والجملة لكل من القمح، الذرة الشامية، الدجاج الأبيض، الأرز، بينما انخفضت أسعار الدقيق الفاخر، زيت بذرة القطن بالنسبة لأسعار الجملة فقط وبدراسة أثر الأزمة المالية العالمية والموسمية على الأسعار تبين انخفاض الأسعار العالمية لجميع السلع موضع الدراسة نتيجة للأثر المباشر لتلك الأزمة خلال عام 2008 مقارنة بعام 2007 م

This study aims to identify the impacts of the global financial crisis on both local and international prices of major food commodities including wheal maize buffalo meat while chicken tilapia fish market sugar rice flour and some oils to achieve its objectives the study investigated and compared the seasonal wholesale and consumer price indices for some selected commodities during the period 20022008 in addition the study investigated the impact of seasonality and international crises on wholesale and consumer price indices and compared their impact on market prices results revealed that the seasonality effect on wholesale and consumer prices occurs during the second quarter Comparing the estimated seasonal wholesale and consumer prices revealed that consumer price indices for buffalo meat and wheat surpassed their wholesale prices on the other hand the wholesale market price indices of wheat white chicken and cottonseed oil surpassed the consumer price indices for the same commodities consumer and wholesale price indices for tilapia sugar and maize proved almost equal Studying the combined effect of the seasonality and the global crises revealed rises in both the wholesale and consumer prices of wheat maize rice and cottonseed oil while revealed declines in the consumer and wholesale prices of buffalo meat white chicken tilapia fish sugar and fine flour during the fourth quarter of 2007 compared to the fourth quarter in 2006 Results regarding the combined effect of the seasonality and the various international crises (the food crisis and the global financial crisis) revealed rises in the in both wholesale and consumer prices of buffalo meat tilapia fish and sugar and declines in the consumer prices of fine flour and cottonseed oil findings also revealed declines in the wholesale and consumer prices of wheat maize white chicken and rice and declines in the wholesale prices of fine flour and cottonseed oil only investigating the impact of the global financial crisis and seasonality on the world prices revealed declines in the world prices of all the commodities under study as a result of the direct impact of the 2008 crisis compared to 2007
