دراسات عن مرض موت البادرات وتعفن جذور التبغ Studies on tobacco dampingoff and rootrot diseases

Abstract

Out of several Virginian and oriental cultivars the tobacco (Nicotine tabacum L) cultivar North Carolina (N C 2326) proved to be the least susceptible to dampingoff and rootrot disease in Iraq This disease is caused by the following fungi Cylindrocarpon heteronema (Berk & Br) WollenwFusarium acuminatum ELL & Er Fusarium equiseti (Cord a) Sacc Fusarium solani (Mart) Sacc Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi) Goid two isolates of Pythium butleri Subramanin and two isolates of Rhizoctonia solani Kiinn state of Thanatophorus cucumeris (Frank) Donk Fusarium solani Macrophomina phaseolina and Rhizoctonia solani caused reduction in leaf area and a considerable decreasein fresh and dry weights of same Plant debris diseased seedlings weeds in tobacco fields and tobacco seeds seem to be the most important sources of infection

توخت الدراسة اختبار حساسية عدة أصناف تبغ شرقية وفرجينية للفطريات المسببة لمرض موت بادرات وتعفن جذرو التبغ في العراق وهي (Berk & Br) Cylindrocarpon heteronema ; Fusarium equiseti (Corda) Sacca ; Fusarium acuminatum Ell & Er ; Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi) Goid ; Fusarum solani (Mart) Sacc بالإضافة إلى عزلتين من الفطر Pythium butleri Subramanin وعزلتين من الفطر Phizoctoni solanl Kuhn بطوره الكامل Thanatophoru cucumeris (Frank) Donk أظهرت الفطريات Ani وMphaseolina Fsol –Rsolani تأثيرا شديدا على بعض صفات أوراق التبغ والتي اشتملت أبعادها وأوزانها الطرية والجافة وقد وجد أن بذور التبغ ومتبقيات المحصول من جذور وسيقان في التربة تعد مصدرا للإصابة بهذه الفطريات، كذلك الأدغال المنتشرة بحقول التبغ والتي تأوي إليها هذه الفطريات
