The results of an investigation of concrete quality of 17 readymixed concrete producers in Jeddah Saudi Arabia are presented The study covers the quality of constituent materials and the effect of curing method on the compressive strength of readymixed concrete The curing methods used were standard sprinkling with water and covering with wet burlap Test results show that the constituent materials used were of high qualities and the concrete specimens covered with wet burlap and sprayed twice daily for seven days gave comparable 28day compressive strength to that of the specimens cured under standard conditions يقدم هذا البحث نتائج دراسة حقلية ومعملية أجريت لمعرفة نوعية الخرسانة التي ينتجها 17 مصنعا للخرسانة الجاهزة في مدينة جدة بالمملكة العربية السعودية تغطي الدراسة نوعية المواد المستخدمة وتأثير طرق المعالجة على قوة انضغاط الخرسانة استخدم في هذا البحث ثلاث طرق للمعالجة، وهي الطريقة القاسية (المغمورة في الماء)، والتغطية بالخيش المبلل، والرش بالماء علما بأن الطريقتين الأخيرتين شائعتا الاستعمال في صناعة البناء المحلية أظهرت النتائج أن المواد المستخدمة في جميع مصانع الخرسانة الجاهزة هي ذات نوعية عالية وأعطت العينات الخرسانية المغطاة بالجيش والمرشوشة مرتين يوميا بالماء لمدة سبعة أيام نتائج مماثلة تقريبا لتلك المعالجة بالطريقة القياسية عند اختبارها بعد 28 يوما
