Three lysosomal populations were ultrastructurally described in the uterine epithelium of the mouse during postovulation The first lysosomal bodies were small in size and surrounded by an outer membrane They reach diameters of 01703 Mm and represent primary lysosomes The second lysosomal bodies were moderate in size and measuring from 06514 Mm in diameter They may represent the socalled secondary lysosomes and consist of membranous arrays and dense granulated matrix The third lysosomal bodies measuring about 47 Mm or more in diameter These bodies represent snother from of secondary lysosomes The phagosomic lysosomal bodies may be of at least two origins ; isocytophagic and leucocytophagic Isocytophagic lsosomes occurred when portions or complete degenerated isogenic epithelial cells were the phagocytosed polymorphonuclear leucocytes في هذا البحث درست بطانة رحم الفأر بواسطة الميكروسكوب الإليكتروني من اليوم الأول إلى اليوم الثالث بعد عمليتي التبويض والإخصاب وقد أظهرت هذه الدراسة وجود ثلاثة أنواع من الليسوسومات وهي الليسوسومات الأولية والتي توجد بالخلية الطلائية فوق النواة وفي منطقة جهاز جولجي، والليسوسومات الثانوية والتي توجد مبعثرة في سيتوبلازم الخلية وتحتوي على تركيبات غشائية، ثم الليسوسومات الكبيرة أو الضخمة Giant lysosomes ممثلة بفجوات هضمية كبيرة وتحتوي هذه الأنواع من الليسوسومات على إنزيمات التحلل والتي تستعملها الخلية في هضم وتحليل كثير من التراكيب الخلوية الداخلية التي فقدت وظيفتها أو تراكيب وأجسام غريبة تبلع بواسطة الخلية الطلائية من بطانة الرحم
