Abstract

The proteolytic activity of some nonproteolytic enzyme producers cultivated on one or more of the protein media reflect the possibility of extracellular production of these enzymes under defined cultural conditions A tendency towards specificity to substrate is apparent in several cases The low or completely nullified activity of some species when transferred form nitrate to protein nitrogen media could be attributed to the ability of the former nitrogen source for building up of these enzymes The age texture and type of available medium played its role in production of proteolytic enzymes The differences in proteolytic activity of one fungus under different forms of one and the same mediummight be attributed to the nature of the species itself rather than to the physical nature of the medium Six days appeared to be the appropriate age for optimum enzyme production

يعكس النشاط البروتيوليتي لبعض الفطريات غير المنتجة للإنزيمات على واحد أو أكثر من الأوساط البروتينية احتمال إنتاج هذه الإنزيمات خارج الخلايا تحت ظروف مزرعية معينة ويبدو في حالات كثيرة وجود علاقة خاصة بنوعية المادة التي يعمل فيها الإنزيم فانخفاض نشاط بعض الأنواع أو انعدامه عندما تنقل هذه الأنواع من وسط نتراتي إلى وسط نيتروجيني بروتيني يمكن أن يعزي إلى قدرة الصورة النتروجينية الأولى على بناء هذه الإنزيمات ويتأثر إنتاج هذه الإنزيمات البروتيوليتية بعدد من العوامل منها السن والقوام وطراز الوسط المتاح واختلاف النشاط البروتيوليتي لفطر معين تحت تأثير أنماط مختلفة من نفس الوسط الغذائي يمكن أن يعزي إلى طبيعة نوع الفطرة نفسها أكثر مما يعزي إلى الطبيعة الفيزيائية للوسط الغذائي ويبدو أن عمر الستة أيام هو أنسب الأعمار لأوفر إنتاج إنزيمي
