لقد تم استعراض ومناقشة نتائج بعض الأبحاث المعملية المنشورة حول خواص وسلوك المواد الصخرية المكسرة المستعملة في إنشاء السدود ولعمل تجارب معملية في هذا المجال، فقد تم تجميع ونصب خلية ثلاثية المحاور تحت ضغوط عالية وبعد ذلك، تم إجراء مجموعات من الاختبارات المعملية تحت ظروف جهد وكثافة مختلفين لفحص خواص وسلوك مادة الجرانيت المكسرة في مراحل الانهيار مع السماح للماء بالخروج أثناء الاختبار ولقد قورنت النتائج التي حصل عليها مع النتائج المنشورة مسبقا حول هذا الموضوع The results of some of the recent research on the behaviour of rockfill materials under laboratory conditions are briefly reviewed Then several series of drained triaxial tests under various stressdensity conditions were carried out to investigate the behavior of granite supply were constructed for the experimental part of the work The results are compared with other published data on rockfill and sand
