Under certain assumptions the motion of water waves over a uniformaly sloping beach may be posed as a mixed boundary value problem for helholtz equation in a semiinfinite sector A class of solutions to this problem was constructured by ursell [13] and Roseau [11] Here we shed some light on the completeness of these solutions
