الملخص:
Thyroid disorders especially thyrotoxicosis are commonly associated with hepatic dysfunction hut cholestasis is rarely reported We reported a 31year lady with thyrotoxicosisass(x’Iated steatosis and cholestasis the serological and the immunological markers were negative for chronic viral hepatitis and autoininiune liver diseases She had significant improvement of the liver enzymes after treatment with radio active 131• Over three years follow up the liver enzymes were fluctuating with the changes in the thyroid status In conclusion reevaluation of the liver enzymes after treatment of thyrotoxicosis will differenLiate patients with thyrotoxicosis induced hepatic dysfunction from those with underlying liver disease أمراض الغدة الدرقية نادرا ما تكون مصحوبة بخلل في وظائف الكبد، والحالة التالية لسيدة تبلغ من العمر 31 عاما أصيبت بتسمم فرط نشاط الغدة الدرقية ووجد لديها تراكم دهني وركود صفراوي كبدي وزيادة نشاط إنزيمات الكبد وكانت تحاليل فيروسات الكبد ونتائج فحوصات أمراض الكبد المناعية السلبية تحسنت وظائف الكبد بصورة كبيرة بعد العلاج باليود الإشعاعي 131 وخلال ثلاث سنوات من المتابعة ظلت إنزيمات الكبد تتفاوت مع التغيرات في مستوى وظائف الغدة الدرقية
