اشتملت هذه الدراسة علي مجموعة من 6 حالات لمرضي يعانون من التهاب قزحي هدبي لايستجيب لطرق العلاج التقليدية، وقد تم علاج المرضي الذين شملتهم الدراسة بحقن عقار5 فلورويوراسيل تحت الملتحمة بجرعة 5 مجم 01 مل وبجرعة اجمالية 1520 مجم علي مدي أسبوعين إلي ثلاثة اسابيع، وقد اظهر المرضي الستة الذين شملتهم الدراسة شفاء الإلتهاب القزحي الهدبي والمياه الزرقاء الناتجة عن هذا الالتهاب خلال فترة متابعة المرضي لفترة 9 شهور، وبناء علي هذه النتائج فإن عقار 5فلورويوراسيل قد يمثل بديلا لعقار الكورتيزون في حالات الإلتهاب القزحي الهدبي التي لا تستجيب لطرق العلاج التقليدية A case series of six patients with uncontrolled anterior uveitis of different etiology were treated with
subconjunctival injections of 5Fluorouracil (5FU 50 mg 01 ml with a total dose of 1520 mg over 23 weeks
All patients showed complete remission of anterior uveitis and control of uveitic glaucoma for > 9 months 5Fluorouracil might be an effective alternative to corticosteroids in controlling anterior uveitis Patients at high
risk of corticosteroids complications and those with uveitic glaucoma may benefit from this drug
